About the Author
Nia Schindle is a new mom and the debut author behind What Is This Thing?: A Story About Face Masks. The playful picture book was inspired by her daughter Bowie Rue, who loves wearing face masks as hats. She lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her cute family and yappy chihuahua.
About the Illustrator
Rafaela Harger is the oh-so talented illustrator behind What Is This Thing?: A Story About Face Masks. She’s a full-time artist living in sunny Brazil and loves spending time with her boyfriend and cats. Find her on Instagram @rafahargerr.
